Public Safety

The Pacific Community of Alaska along with the Alaska Coalition for Justice, Stand Up Alaska, Umoja Co-Working, NAACP Anchorage Branch, Alaska Black Caucus, Native Movement, and Alaska Public Interest Research Group hosted this conversation as a space for people to grieve and heal together. We talked about what public safety means to us and how we can support each other as community members. In the wake of the numerous officer-involved shootings taking place in our town, now is the time to come together to talk about how we can keep our friends, family, and community safe and thriving.
